Isabelle Arrives
With the completion of your upgraded Resident Services, Isabelle will arrive to help assist Tom Nook. Though Tom Nook previously took on all responsibilities, he will now split his work with Isabelle to lighten the load. Tom Nook will focus on home and island-related renovations, whereas Isabelle will help with administrative matters, such as resident behaviour and your island’s tune and flag.

Upon her arrival, Isabelle will also take charge of the island’s announcements at the start of each day. There may not always be news for her to share, so she is likely to give you updates on her own life. What could you learn about Isabelle? Listen to her broadcasts every day to find out.
The Campsite
Now that Resident Services has been upgraded, approach Tom Nook at the brand-new construction consultation counter and he will inform you of his dream – to invite the famous K.K. Slider to the island!
To make this a reality, you will first need to build a campsite to attract visitors and increase the island’s population. Speak to Tom again and select the ‘What should I do’ option and he will send you the recipe to craft a campsite construction kit. Crafting the campsite will require 15 each of the following materials: Wood, Softwood, Hardwood and Iron Nugget. Once you have the construction kit in hand, find a suitable location to place it down, then wait a day for construction to complete. This new addition to your island makes for great PR and is sure to attract some out-of-towners.
On the following day, Isabelle will announce the arrival of a visitor at the campsite. Head over there and you will notice a tent is now pitched, indicating that someone has set up camp. Go inside and make their acquaintance.
Speak with the visitor and choose either option to invite them to become a permanent fixture of your island. This initial visitor will be excited at the prospect and won’t need any prompting, but you will need to return to Tom Nook to seal the deal. He will be overjoyed by the news and give you a housing kit if you select the ‘Leave it to me!’ option. All that is left now is for you to pick the perfect spot for your new friend to call home, then return to the campsite to update them on the situation. At the start of the next day, Isabelle will officially introduce the newest arrival and welcome them to the island. Do note that choosing the ‘I’m busy right now’ option will put this process on hold, but you won’t be able to make further preparations for the K.K. Slider concert until you have built a house for your new resident.
